world renowned spas, Ayurveda centers, and green hotels offering a
perfect blend of relaxation combined with light to moderate eco-tours,
cultural tours, or cooking classes.

In
addition, we
are very proud of provide travel
for women. It has been our honor to create travel
arrangements for single traveling women, or to prepare trips for groups,
since women traveling together of like mind provide opportunities to meet and
travel together in a variety of settings, combining spirit, and
adventure at all levels.
For
the Green Minded Traveler, we
continue to expand our departments of eco-tours, and eco-adventure
vacations. Some of which are already listed highlight journeys
to Africa,
or even cultural tours to India, global faith tours, eco-sport vacations,
and educational family vacations. Our family
vacations are a combination of ideal beach resort vacations,
eco-adventures, and trips that provide an educational experience for the

travel you may be looking for. From low impact tourism
with stunning accommodations, to high adventure with private

Many destinations may also allow you some time to work in some volunteer
capacity at special mission sites.

The Pushkar Fair: A photography workshop tour with John
Buck: November 6- 18, 2008: Pushkar, an
important religious place for Hindus, is hugely known for the
Pushkar Fair where the mass trading of camels takes place, and
is the spotlight of an Indian holiday. During this
period the population of 14,000 swells to over 200,000 while
the festival hosts over 50,000 camels which are sold, raced
and decorated.
Our
tour leader, John Buck, a Kodak contract photographer, is
leading our small group on a mission to capture this historic
event with digital photography techniques...his goal: to teach
our travelers how to take extraordinary travel photos.
Our itinerary also has you learning hands on in Delhi, Jaipur,
Agra and more. Upon returning from this tour, your
knowledge of photography will stay with you for a lifetime,
just as this Indian adventure will stay in your mind, heart
and soul a lifetime.

Rescue in Costa Rica: One Week Summer or Fall Program 2008:
This project provides you with the best of Costa Rica in the
shape of turtle conservation and surfing lessons. Situated on
the beautiful beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula, you can pack a
truly wonderful experience into one or two weeks. Turtles are
under threat in Costa Rica and volunteers are really needed to
help out with conservation efforts. This is your opportunity
to play a part in an ongoing struggle to save a remarkable
piece of Costa Rica's heritage. Turtle poaching is very common
in Costa Rica and before the conservation projects started up
the poaching rate was over 95% however this has now decrease
to 10% but volunteers are needed to continue protecting these marvelous
creatures. You need to love the outdoors, be enthusiastic and
like working with animals. You do not need to be able to surf
but you must be a good swimmer to do this project. A fun and
positive attitude comes in handy too! The work and lessons are
hard work be prepared to fall asleep exhausted each
day.
