Day 2: Teotihuacan & Aztec Shaman Ritual
Quetzalcoatl comes to life at the enormous pyramids. Explore the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan and join
Day 4: Villahermosa – Palenque
Private transfer from hotel to the Mexico City airport and onward to your flight to Villahermosa. Upon your arrival into Villahermosa, peek into the world of the Olmecs ancestors of the Maya, Aztec, and more at La Venta Museum.
Continue on to Palenque with your guide and driver. Upon arrival settle into your hotel for dinner and evening of leisure.

Day 5: Palenque Archaeological Site & Misol -Ha
Today begins with a trip to Palenque – a site that had remarkable cultural development until the late Classic period. Palenque is a site of outstanding architectural beauty and aesthetic importance, which makes this unique city, situated in the middle of the jungle, one of the greatest creations of the ancient men.
After exploring the ruins, visit the beautiful waterfall Misol-Ha. Return to the hotel for an authentic Sweat Bath experience.

Day 6: Yaxchilan and Bonampak
Located deep in the Lacandon Jungle, today we visit Taxchilan and Bonampak. See rich paintings and carved stele in exceptional condition, and canoe to primal Yaxchilan. After, visit Bonampak, famous for its astonishing frescoes in side the modest looking Templo de las Pinturas (Bonampak means “painted walls”). From the consecration of heirs to the throne to vivid depictions of battles and bizarre rituals of torture and blood letting, these frescoes are unmatched throughout the Mayan world.

Day 7: Agua Azul Waterfall, Tonina, and San Cristobal de las Casas
Today after breakfast, visit an incredible waterfall, Agua Azul. As soon as you set eyes on these waterfalls you will understand why they were given their name which translates to blue water. Due to the high mineral content in the water, these large cascades are a bright blue color for most of the year. Walk up the man-made path beside the falls where you will see the collection of different cascades roaring down to meet each other.
Your journey continues towards Toniná, featuring one of the most well developed central temple complexes in Mayan civilization. The base of the temple has a real labyrinth that we were able to wander through in the dark. Arriving at San Cristobal de Las Casas you will settle into your charming hotel and enjoy rest of evening at leisure.

Day 8: San Juan Chamula for Ancient Ceremony with
Shaman and Zinacantan
Enjoy a privately guided tour of the indigenous town and a mountain community of San Juan Chamula. Here you will explore the city take in the sights and sounds; you will also participate in a ceremony led by a Tzotsil Shaman.
There are many beautiful and magical sacred sites in Mexico, but few hold the strong energy of the indigenous traditions. It is this spiritual energy that forms the basis for our week of heart-felt transformation and personal expansion. Your experience continues towards community of Zinancantan, to witness local, weaving traditions and the heritage of Christianity. Ending with a tour of the highlands colonial city of San Cristobal.

Day 9: Sumidero Canyon
Take boat trip along the river thru the Sumidero Canyon, with its walls that measure thousands of feet in height. Back in San Cristobal enjoy rest of evening at leisure.
