WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR JOURNEY
Expect an authentic journey to Peru to experience hands on interaction with local peoples and area tribes.
You will have local Shaman Guides throughout this journey who will take you to sacred grounds and locations within this itinerary. You will engage and fully participate in Sweat Lodge ceremony with the Pisac Tribe. Also, this journey includes many meals, since you will have the opportunity to dine with local tribe members and village communities.

TRIP ITINERARY
Peace and Culture | Shamanic Insight Journey
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Lima.
DAY 2: LIMA | INC: B/L/D.
In the morning, visit the Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac, just 30 kms. South of Lima. It was built in adobe with view to the sea and the Lurin river valley. It was a pilgrimage site for many cultures that developed in ancient Peru.
Upon arrival of the Incas, the complex was adapted to become an administrative center, respecting and adapting the local constructions. You can find there the Temple of the Sun, the Acllahuasi, the Palace of Taurichumbi, and the Pilgrimage Plaza, among others. You will also visit the Site Museum to get a better insight and appreciate the salvaged remnants of the area.
Here, a local shaman will explain about the importance of the Archaeological place within the spiritual life of the Incas and will host a welcome ceremony to bless your journey. Lunch at Los Ficus Farm located in the Lurin River valley, and enjoy a home-made lunch and an exhibition of Peruvian Horses.
Later in the afternoon, visit the Magic Water Circuit, the largest water and light show in Latin America. Witness the greatest show of Ornamental Fountains where there is perfect communion and harmony of water, light, music and images. Afterward, go to Huaca Pucllana restaurant for dinner.

DAY 3: LIMA/CUSCO/SACRED VALLEY | INC: B/L.
Departure transfer to board oyur domestic flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. Along the way, stop at Misminay where a local community of weavers preserve their ancient traditions and communicate with nature and the cosmos. This is a remarkable village, which possesses a mysterious textile iconography, unique plants and animals, subtle gastronomy of native products and maintains pre-Hispanic customs. You will hve the opportunity to enjoy a homemade lunch with the community.
After lunch, continue to Maras, the famous and ancient salt mines of the colonial era. The contrast of its wells white with the green valley is impressive and not to be missed for a postcard spectacular of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

DAY 4: SACRED VALLEY | INC: B/L.
In the morning, you will be taken to participate a real sweat lodge ceremony with the Pisac tribe. Depending on the length of the ceremony, you may have lunch with the tribe, or go back to the hotel to freshen up, and enjoy lunch on site, or in your room to embrace time for quiet reflection.
Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY/MACHU PICCHU | INC: B/L/D.
In the morning, depart via private transfer to Chinchero, to visit the Piuray Lake. You have a warm up pracitce before heading into the water to paddle for a while before beginning the yoga session. Youur teacher will instruct you in the performance of the asanas. Enjoy the session with the best view of the Sacred Valley.
Later, we will head towards the local train station to board our train to Aguas Calientes. Dinner included at the hotel.

DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU/CUSCO | INC: B/L/D
Early in the morning, board the bus with your Shaman Guide to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas.
Your shaman will host a prayer to the Pachamama (mother earth) and will explain the spiritual significance of the citadel during the Inca Empire. Ascended Master Energy will surround you. At the arranged time, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before boarding your train back to Poroy station from where you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner included at the hotel.

DAY 7: CUSCO | INC: B.
Early in the morning, go to the Moon Valley in Cusco to enjoy a yoga session surrounded by the beautiful archaeological places in the city.
Later, get away from the crowds to visit with your Shaman, Sacsayhuaman , an impressive citadel full of colossal fortress surrounded by beautiful landscapes in complete communion with nature. Tthen continue to the Inca shrine of Qenqo, with its awesome altar for sacrifices embedded in the side of the rock. Finally arrive to the Puca Pucara watchtower and Tambomachay, a monument of noticeable architectural excellence, considered one of the pillars of the Andean view of the world. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 8: CUSCO | PUNO: INC B/L.
Departure on a tour bus to Puno. On the way, stop to visit the attractions this beautiful route has to offer. The first stop: Andahuaylillas, for a visit to its beautiful chapel, then its Racchi, Temple of the Wiracocha god where the walls and narrow streets stand out.
Then it’s lunch time and the opportunity to see the view at “La Raya”, natural border between Cusco and Puno. Before your final destination you visit the in site Pucara Museum and a chance to get one of the local classic bull shaped ceramics. Arrive in Puno at the end of the afternoon and check in your hotel.

DAY 9: LAKE TITICACA | INC: B/L.
In the morning, visit the Uros Islands located in the Titikaka Lake bay, about 6 km. from Puno Port. There are around 40 scattered islands built with Totora reed (an aquatic plant), constituting an important archipelago inhabited by 10 to 20 families. Visit two islands of the Uros to appreciate the unique beauty of the place, as well as the culture and lifestyle of the locals of millinery origin. Even today they keep their ancestral traditions, with a large Aymara influence, all linked to the totora reed. The subsistence of the Uros is based on fishing, hunting and gathering of eggs, complementing their economy with the sale of handicrafts.
After visiting an Uros family, board a reed boat where your shaman will head towards Taquile, a place in which the settlers still maintain their ancestral traditions and colorful typical clothes. Go to the top of the island to enjoy lunch with a local family and then go to the beach where a shaman will host a cleansing ceremony. Afternoon return to the hotel.

DAY 10: PUNO | INC: B/L.
Today, visit Aramu Muru Doorway in Ajayu Marka, The house of the Sun or House of Divinity. Walk on the Ceremonial Path starting from the drinking place of the Inca. In this place, you will do a Solar practice to activate your Inner connection with the Father Sun.
Continue to the inter dimensional doorway of Lord Aramu Muru, then begin to experience in the two columns of the gate the Light, then the doorway of divinity in connection with our hearts which is the other doorway to our divinity. After the ceremony return to Puno.

DAY 11: PUNO | INC: B.
At arranged time, you will be transferred to the airport to board your connecting flight back home.
