DAY 5: SAFARI

Early morning proceed for park visit to see the Tiger and other wild animals. Return to hotel for Breakfast. After Lunch again proceed for park visit.

Apart from the tiger, you can also spot sloth bear, leopard, caracal, jackal, fox, hyena and mongoose at Ranthambore. The dainty sambhar deer, the blue bull antelope or nilgai, rhesus macaque, langur and an incredible variety of birds amidst a setting of dhok, fig and banyan trees makes a visit to this park a delight – for tourists and naturalists alike. Basking crocodiles, king vulture on a snag, the scream of the serpent eagle, the alarm call of spotted deer are some sights and sounds that make this a safari experience like none other. Open from October to June.

Luxury Tents at your resort  are designed to reflect the majestic caravans that crossed the deserts carrying noblemen during the times of the Raj. The inner canopy is decorated with gold woven tiger print, rugs lie on polished teak floorboards, while the four-poster, canopied bed is the prize of the room.  Subtly concealed behind natural cotton curtains, the teak floored bathroom features a claw footed standalone bathtub that looks out onto the private terrace. A separate shower cubicle is crafted out of evergreen marble and the walk-in wardrobe is lined in faux animal hide.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO JAIPUR

Early morning proceed for park visit to see the Tiger and other wild animals. Return to hotel for Breakfast. After Lunch check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon free for independent activities.

DAY 10: BIKING THE CITY OF LAKES

Rise early for this adventure to  see the shimmering reflections of the palaces, temples, havelis  in the many lakes of Udaipur.  

Start your early morning biking expedition at 6:30am,  you may hear a temple bell ringing or the boatmen calling out to for a ride, or the jingle and clang of the trinkets of the womenfolk, about to start their day.  The crack of dawn will breathe in as much freshness into you, as you set off to tour Udaipur, to reach your first stop the fatehsagar lake by around 6:45 am. The lake captures the morning glory of dawn, in a picture-perfect scene.  You will feel invigorated with a cool, gentle breeze blowing in from the lake, as you set forth to “Shilpgram” , which is a village cooperative  to showcase the artistry and craftsmanship of rural artisans and tribesmen. 

As you pass through attractive handicrafts, canvases of tribal art, you head towards Badi lake, riding through steep climbs, country roads, lush village fields,  switchbacks, as you catch a glimpse of seasonal waterfalls on the way. You reach the Badi lake at about 8:00 am. The lake  is an artificial fresh water lake built by Maharana Raj Singh in the 17th century. There are three chhatris or pavilions that grace the lake.  You could enjoy a short snack break near the lake and refresh a bit before you head back on your bike, through the forest route, to the city... here is a place where the palace trains cannot by-pass the narrow crooked lanes that are as attractive for their  merchandise as the peacock mosaics of royalty.  

Return to the hotel for breakfast, perhaps a spa treatment, and this afternoon you embark on a lake ride at Lake Pichola with lunch.

DAY 11: DAY OF LEISURE

Today you enjoy this amazing hotel.  Wake up for yoga and mediation.  Enjoy breakfast in your room. 

At your leisure stroll the gardens. or come to rest with a couples massage like no other. 

This evening, a private dinner for two under the lakeside dome. 

Overnight in Udaipur at The Oberoi Udivilas. 

DAY 12: DEPARTURE

Morning leisurely check out, private drive to Mumbai or Delhi for your departure.
